ANSWER: Most students should be able to identify the shift in religious styles resulting from the movement. Stronger students will see the movement as creating institutions like colleges. But the strongest essays will point to the conflict engendered and to the way that the movement undermined traditional authority, helping to set the stage for the American Revolution.
