According to a 2010 report, 70 of R-rated movies (and 30 of G, PG, and PG-13 movies) in the U.S. contained some tobacco use. Compared to 2005, this represents a decrease in depictions of tobacco use.

Anabolic effects are those that increase muscle; androgenic effects are masculinizing. Testosterone does both. Because anabolic steroids still have some androgenic effects, women may experience enlarged clitoris, increased facial hair, and deepening of the voice.
