Can the following problem be solved by using a binomial model? Let's say that the probability that a student will arrive on time for a statistics class is 70%. How many students out of 30 would be on time for the last day of class?
◦ Not enough information is provided to determine if the binomial model can be used.
◦ This problem cannot be solved using the binomial model because the students are not independent.
◦ This problem can be solved using the binomial model because the students are not independent.
◦ A binomial model is only valid for the average probability rather than a particular day's probability.
