Answer to Question 1

1. Children's testimony. Several high profile cases suggested that children's testimony about abuse is not always
accurate. 2. Recovered memories of abuse. Some believe repressed memories are not valid, others believe they
typically are. It does seem that some recovered memories are suspect, as are sometimes non-repressed memories.

Answer to Question 2

The cognitive distractions that come with anxiety. Men get distracted by negative thoughts
about their performance, which inhibits sexual arousal.
