Answer to Question 1

Checking (I frequently have to check things like gas or water taps or doors several times.); Cleaning (I avoid using public telephones because of possible contamination.); Slowness (I am often late because I can't seem to get through everything on time.); Doubting and conscientiousness (Even when I do something very carefully, I often feel that it is not quite right.)

Answer to Question 2

Both might avoid going to a social event like a party. The social phobic would avoid this situation out of fear of being scrutinized or criticized. The agoraphobic would avoid this situation out of fear of internal cues, especially the possibility of having a panic attack in public.
