It is Emilie's ninth birthday, and her parents have just brought out the biggest birthday present she has ever seen. Her eyes widen, and her heart starts to race as she eagerly tears the wrappings off her gift. How would Schachter describe Emilie's experience based on the two-factor theory of emotion?

"Her pulse is racing because she is happy."
"The huge present makes her pulse race, and it makes her feel happy."
"Her racing pulse means she is happy because she interprets this as an enjoyable situation."
"She feels happy because her pulse is racing."
