Which of the following children is most likely to still be depressed in adulthood?
 
  a. 16-year-old Lachelle who has been withdrawn, sad, and listless since her mother
  died in an automobile accident last year. Lachelle blames herself for the accident,
  because her mother was driving to pick her up at school when the accident
  occurred. Since the accident, Lachelle has lost a lot of weight and has had
  difficulty sleeping.
  b. 12-year-old Clint, who was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and
  comorbid conduct disorder. Clint is rejected by other children and does not have
  any friends because of his antisocial conduct.
  c. 11-year-old Sarina, who was recently diagnosed with major depressive disorder,
  after she expressed suicidal thoughts to a teacher at school following an incident
  in which other children teased her. According to Sarina, the voices were telling
  her that she should kill herself to get even with the other children.

  not display any symptoms of depression prior to the move.
