John does not like to go to school. Although he is a relatively good student, he does
  not enjoy his classroom. He does not mind doing homework, but the thought of going
  to school makes him extremely uncomfortable, sometimes even physically ill.
 
  His
  parents were concerned for a while that he was being bullied, but could not find any
  evidence that that was the case. After extensive questioning, John finally broke down
  and told them that he is always afraid of making a mistake in front of his classmates.
  He desperately fears that they will not like him, or will make fun of him. John is
