Assuming that the function  f  has continuous  partial derivatives  of orders 1 and 2, calculate and simplify   f(x, y)  where  x = u cos v  and  y = u sin v.
◦ - sin v f1(x,y) + cos v f2(x,y) - u sin v cos v ( f11(x,y)  +  f22(x,y)) -  u(cos2 v + sin2 v) f12(x,y)
◦ sin v f1(x,y) + cos v f2(x,y) - u sin v cos v ( f11(x,y)  -  f22(x,y)) +  u(cos2 v - sin2 v) f12(x,y)
◦ - sin v f1(x,y) + cos v f2(x,y) - u sin v cos v ( f11(x,y)  +  f22(x,y)) +  u(cos2 v - sin2 v) f12(x,y)
