Is the function given by  f(x) =  continuous on ℛ? Why or why not?

◦ No, since f(x) is not continuous at x = -4

Find the intervals on which the function is continuous.

Is the function given by f(x) =  continuous over the interval [-4, 4]? Why or why not?
◦ No, since f(x) is not continuous at x = 4
◦ Yes, f(x) is continuous at each point on  [-4, 4]
