f(x) has a positive derivative over (-∞, -7) and a negative derivative over (-7, -2) and (-2, ∞), and a derivative equal to 0 at x = -2.



Question 2

Draw a graph to match the description. Answers will vary.

f(x) is decreasing over  (-∞, 2]   and increasing over [2, ∞).
