Dutton and Aron (1974) conducted a study in which an attractive female confederate (researcher) approached male participants and asked them to complete a questionnaire. Some participants were approached after crossing a suspension bridge, others while on the suspension bridge. The female researcher told all male participants she was available for questions should they have any following the research, and provided her phone number. What did the results of this study reveal?
