Answer to Question 1

The uterus has several functions: It undergoes a cycle of change every month that leads to menstruation, and it provides a path for sperm to reach the ovum, which returns to the uterus after it is fertilized and implants itself in the uterine wall. The uterus also nourishes and protects the developing fetus during gestation and provides the contractions for expulsion of the mature fetus during labor. The uterus increases greatly in size and weight during and after a pregnancy and atrophies after menopause.

Answer to Question 2

A spot about the size of a dime or quarter in the lower third of the front part of the vagina, the Grafenberg spot (G-spot), was first described by Ernest Grfenberg in 1950 . There has never been any scientific proof of its existence, and today research indicates that increased sensitivity in the G-spot area may actually be caused by stimulation of the bulbs of the clitoris (Foldes & Buisson, 2009; Pastor, 2010).

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
