Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

a . Compared to people with LSE, people with HSE think that they are smarter, more attractive, and more talented. They also think that they are more successful, have more friends, and have better relationships. In reality, however, none of these things seem to be true.
b. But HSE people are more confident than their LSE counterparts, and feel better about themselves. As a result, they are more likely to stand up for what they believe in, take risks, and persist in the face of failures.
c. On the other hand, there can be a downside to their confidence. People with HSE can sometimes come across as conceited or obnoxious. They may not know when to give up or walk away from tasks. And they may end up taking risks that seriously compromise their health or well-being. Furthermore, true narcissists (a subset of those with HSE) show a variety of unhealthy behaviors; compared to other people, they tend to more aggressive, more prejudiced, less loyal to their relationship partners, and indifferent to how others perceive them.
