Are there any differences in health between people who have solid social support and people who don't?

i. When we are highly self-aware (for example, looking at ourselves in a mirror) we are more likely to behave in socially desirable ways so as to enhance our own self-image.
ii. Binge eating is not generally considered socially desirable, and lack of self-awareness is associated with binge eating.
iii. Heightened self-awareness, in contrast, is associated with more modest portions.
