Answer to Question 1

 Possible Response Points:
Social constructionist theories: Sexual attitudes and behaviors vary widely based on learning and cultural norms. Male and female sexual attitudes/behavior will shift according to who has power in society, what historical norms have been, etc.
Evolutionary theory: The sex drive was shaped by natural selection. Because males can theoretically pass on their genes hundreds of times, while each woman is limited in the number of offspring she can bearand each woman invests much more in each offspringmen should be innately more likely to seek out multiple short-term sexual partners, as well as shorter-term relationships, while women should be innately more likely to seek out committed relationships with longer-term partners.
Social exchange theory: Sex is a resource that women have and that men want, and for which men are willing to exchange social resources.
