Answer to Question 1

The man should discuss his education and achievements and his career in an honest way that is positive. He should avoid gloating, exaggerating, or being deceitful about his educational history or past job experiences. By presenting himself and his history in a positive way, the man will be using effective impression management tactics, but if he overdoes it or lies, then the woman will likely react in a negative way.

Answer to Question 2

The three types of information are 1) consensus, 2) consistency, and 3) distinctiveness. Consensus refers to the extent to which other people react to a given stimulus or event in the same manner as the person we are evaluating. Consistency refers to the extent to which the person in question reacts to the stimulus or event in the same way on other occasions over time. Finally, distinctiveness refers to the extent to which the person reacts in the same manner to other, different stimuli or events.
