Answer to Question 1

Some organizations seek feedback on the mission statement from all employees so that there is a sense of ownership of the mission statement. An organization may benefit from this by having employees who are more engaged in the process and more loyal to the organization. Employees may benefit from being involved in this process in that their job satisfaction is likely to be greater when working with an organization that seeks to involve employees in important decisions, such as the creation of a mission statement.

Answer to Question 2

Policy and procedure manuals should be reviewed and updated regularly so that they are always current. Policies and procedures may change over time due to new technology or the passage of legislation that affects how the medical office policies are managed.
