Answer to Question 1

D
Walking helps strengthen bone and is an appropriate exercise for this client. Swimming and cycling are good exercises but they do not strengthen bones. Jogging is too strenuous an exercise for a sedentary client to begin with.

Answer to Question 2

A
Sickle cell disease occurs predominantly in Blacks and Mediterranean people and is rarely seen in Caucasians, Asians, or Hispanics.
