Penetrating trauma to the abdomen with no signs of neurological deficit:
 
  a. should not have SMR because time is extremely critical
  b. should have SMR due to a potential dangerous mechanism
  c. should be evaluated as a low-priority patient and transported
  d. should not have any IV therapy initiated, only oxygen therapy

Question 2

What should be done with an impaled object in the abdomen?
 
  a. remove it and evaluate the wound
  b. leave it in place and stabilize with dressings
