No. Consumption of fiber in the hours prior to a sports activity can lead to the athlete having to interrupt the activity to have a bowel movement. It is a good idea for athletes to avoid eating fiber for approximately 6 hours prior to an event.

Scissors, hydrogen peroxide, liquid soap, a flashlight, EpiPen, glucose, sterile saline, first aid cream, nonstick pads, and any other item particularly useful in treating athletes. (Note: Any eight from this list will suffice. Other answers may apply.)
