Answer to Question 1

Direct witnessing (what we say) is the attempt to represent one's religious faith to others in various ways. This may be the most controversial approach because it has the most potential for offending people. A major concern about overt witnessing is the potential for a manager to unfairly use managerial power to coerce or influence employees' religious choices. Indirect witnessing (what we do) is living a moral life rather than talking about faith and God. It emphasizes the lifestyle choices of the manager, which set up opportunities to talk with others about personal faith.

The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).

There can actually be a 25-hour time difference between certain locations in the world. The International Date Line passes between the islands of Samoa and American Samoa. It is not a straight line, but "zig-zags" around various island chains. Therefore, Samoa and nearby islands have one date, while American Samoa and nearby islands are one day behind. Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
