Thanks for the answer, I sent you a PM for another one.

Answer to Question 2

Students' rationale should focus specifically on why the use of storytelling is useful for the large, diverse audience. In this context, storytelling can provide a method to reduce barriers to successful communication imposed by a multitude of diverse characteristics. Here are some justifications students could provide:
Differences in attention span, concentration ability, and learning style can prevent effective message communication when the message is delivered to many in a primarily auditor context. Stories pique interest to focus the audience and provide a more visual method of message conveyance.
Stories may provide context to fill in what someone didn't hear, didn't understand, or didn't know about in the traditional message delivery preceding the story. Jargon or a pop culture term often lacks context that can be inferred through a story. This provides another way that stories can communicate messages.
People are more likely to remember who prevailed in the story than they are the thrilling line of your speech conclusion. It provides a great way to reinforce your message even in a large crowd where gathering non-verbal feedback to ensure understanding is much harder.
People are more likely to talk about a story than a message, and this can be helpful to reach beyond only those in attendance.
The key point students should include is that storytelling is an effective method to communicate to any number of communication styles that may be in the audience without having to know exactly what they are.
