Answer to Question 2

Art therapy, which emerged as a mental health discipline in the mid-20th century, integrates art and creativity into counseling and psychotherapy for the purpose of healing. It has been used to help individuals of all ages with physical, mental, or emotional problems. As an alternative healing opportunity for those who may not respond fully to conventional treatments such as psychotherapy, art therapy can help individuals explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem.
