Answer to Question 1

(any three or more of the following):
1. Plan before you shop. Make a list, and buy only what you will actually eat.
2. Buy locally.
3. Don't be picky. Buy produce even if it is oddly shaped or bruised, and eat it before it rots.
4. Store leftovers in your fridge or freezer, and eat them. Commit to skipping restaurant meals and take-out when there is good food in your fridge.
5. Eat lower on the food chain. Reducing your consumption of animal-based foods, especially beef, contributes to a reduction in global greenhouse gas emissions and depletion of natural resources.

Answer to Question 2
