Answer to Question 1

Controlled atmosphere storage is where the fruit is placed in dark chambers and the temperature is held between 32F and 55F, and the oxygen and carbon dioxide levels are decreased and replaced with nitrogen.

Answer to Question 2

The four things done to help young fruit trees grow properly are: (1) watering, (2) weeding, (3) pruning, and (4) spraying to prevent damage from insects and disease.
