What limiting factor came up most often in trying to choose an animal? For
  example: purchase price of the animal and related equipment, healthcare
  requirements, daily attention requirements for the animal, daily
  housekeeping requirements, for the animal and others. Explain why the factor
  was such a problem.

Some answers may include the following:Advantages
: saving food for consumption during colder months, saving food for
long trips, slowing the amount of time it takes for food to spoil, feeding large
numbers of people (e.g., an Army, caravan), slowing down or stopping growth and
reproduction of microorganisms (i.e., bacteria).
Disadvantages: loss of taste or flavor, having space for preserved food.



Answer to Question 2

Daily housekeeping and attention requirements are often the biggest barrier for
owners. The animal must be cleaned up and bad habits must be addressed as they
appear, or some species of animals can make it very difficult to keep a clean house or
even worse can begin to destroy furniture, plants, and property.
