Advantages of a lead acid battery include there one of the least expensive batteries to manufacture and maintain. They can be mass-produced and are available to large variety of voltages, currents and sizes. Produced the most amount like 100 K. per weight when compared to other battery technologies. Disadvantages include problems with low energy output in cold weather, acid in the battery may leak which is caustic and may cause burns to the skin or deterioration of material around. Lead acid battery produces sulfur and hydrogen fumes when it's being recharge.
