Reactive functional hypoglycemia: hypoglycemia experienced simultaneously with epinephrine-release symptoms two to five hours after a meal. Reactive hypoglycemia secondary to diabetes: occurs d/t an over injection of insulin or not eating after an insulin injection. Hypoglycemia secondary to fasting: hypoglycemia that occurs after 8 to 14 hours of fasting.
