Answer to Question 1

B, D
Feedback:
Using highly seasoned or strongly flavored foods may be effective as uremia has caused a change in the sense of taste. Protein should be spread over the day and not saved for one meal. Dairy should be limited to 1/2 cup/day, and no salt should be added to the food, either in cooking or at the table.

Answer to Question 2

4
Rationale: Newborns have a diminished ability to clot blood and are more prone to hemorrhages; vitamin K injections are given to prevent hemorrhages. Vitamins A, D, and E are not given to newborns.
