Answer to Question 1

A
The  Daily Value shows how a food fits into the overall daily diet and would therefore show whether it makes a high or low contribution to nutrient intake. Health claims may indicate that a food is high or low in a specific nutrient related to that particular health claim, but would not in-dicate overall nutrient content of the food. The organic seal, if present, indicates the farming methods used to grow the food but does not give any information about nutrient content. The amount of nutrients per serving is only listed for some nutrients; it would not give any informa-tion about vitamins and minerals in the food because these are only listed as  Daily Values.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback:
To increase the intake of fiber, encourage clients to eat dried peas and beans two or three times per week. Dried peas and beans are excellent sources of both insoluble and soluble fibers and are a fat-free alternative to meat. Orange juice and potato chips are not high sources of fiber, whereas cream of wheat and pretzels are made from refined grains rather than whole grains.
