Answer: Good victims are those that are well-educated, articulate and presentable to a jury. Bad victims may have a prior record, may have provoked the defendant, and may be less credible.

Answer: NCVS data reveals that most violent crime is intraracial, meaning that it occurs within the same race. For example, about 77 percent of white victims of lone offenders who perceive the offenders race identify it as white, and only about 18 percent identify it as African-American.
