Answer to Question 1

d

Answer to Question 2

Type 1 diabetes is not nearly as common. It is an autoimmune disease in which the beta islet cells of the pancreas (that produce insulin) are destroyed. The young person will need to inject insulin into their body to control their blood glucose. There is no obvious pre-diabetes stage that can be as easily controlled as pre-diabetes for type 2 diabetes.

The dogs detected 54 of the 55 lung cancer patients as having cancer, detected 28 of the 31 breast cancer patients, and gave only three false-positive results (detecting cancer in people who didn't have it).
