Why are monounsaturated fats better for you than polyunsaturated fats?
 a. Because they are lower in calories per tablespoon.
  b. Because they decrease total cholesterol better.
  c. Because they decrease LDL and decrease HDL.
  d. Because they decrease LDL and don't decrease HDL.

Why is there not an effort to get the word out about type 1 diabetes?

Type 1 diabetes is not nearly as common. It is an autoimmune disease in which the beta islet cells of the pancreas (that produce insulin) are destroyed. The young person will need to inject insulin into their body to control their blood glucose. There is no obvious pre-diabetes stage that can be as easily controlled as pre-diabetes for type 2 diabetes.
