Answer to Question 1

c

Answer to Question 2

Formative evaluations often entail qualitative data collection methods such as observations, interviews, and structured discussions before the start of a program to provide a baseline in measuring the impact of an intervention. They may also be implemented for on-going projects to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to improve methodology as indicated by data analysis.

Summative evaluations are conducted to assess outcomes at the conclusion of a program or learning activity. They often entail quantitative evaluation methods such as performance tests, surveys, systematic observations, biochemical or anthropometric measurements, and self-assessment tools. Based on the results of these evaluations, consideration can be given to modify program goals and objectives for future interventions.
