Answer to Question 1

b

Answer to Question 2

The NNMRRP surveys are grouped into five areas: nutritional status and nutrition-related health measurements; food and nutrient consumption; knowledge, attitudes, and behavior assessment; food composition and nutrient databases; and food supply determinations. Two examples illustrating their interrelatedness include: (1) An individual's health and nutritional status is influenced by his or her food intake, which includes the food prepared and eaten at home and away from the home. (2) Food intake is influenced by an individual's knowledge about the relationship between diet and health, use of supplements, nutrient requirements, and attitudes about food and dietary and health practices.
