AKI patients are likely to produce <500 ml urine per day at the gfr's lowest level; these patients can develop fluid and electrolytes disorders, azotemia, wasting, especially if they are both oliguric hypercatabolic.
It is possible that the AKI was due to his post-op hypotensive event/shock or the infection later on.

Many people with hypertension do not experience any symptoms at all initially.
Others experience headachesespecially upon waking. These headaches may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting.
Long-term symptoms may include blurred vision, unsteady gait, nocturia, and edema.
