Answer to Question 1

ANSWER: A word wall is an interactive ongoing display of words or parts of words that is used to teach spelling, reading and writing strategies, letter-sound correspondence, and more. It is alphabetically arranged and displays words the children have experienced. It needs
to be at eye-level to the children and is created collaboratively with the children and the teacher. The words are reviewed on a daily basis to help children internalize them. It needs to be kept simple and uncluttered for easy reference.
