Others may respond favorably to appeals to their social, ego, and self-actualizing needs. People with these needs would want to be loved, entertained, remembered, praised, appreciated, or respected.

Before writing a persuasive message, you should consider how your persuasive appeal could satisfy the receiver's needs and wants.
