Answer to Question 1

Gynecomastia occurs when the ductal and fibrous tissue of the adolescent male breast begins to proliferate and form a distinct nodule of breast tissue under the nipple. The condition is not serious, but may cause embarrassment. Treatment usually involves surgical removal of the excess breast tissue.

Hyperventilation resulting from stress anxiety, use of drugs, change in altitude, disease of the nervous system.
