Answer to Question 1

T
Frontal plane leads view the heart from the front of the body as if it were flat. Directions in the frontal plane are superior, inferior, right, and left. Six leads view the heart in the frontal plane. Leads I, II, and III are called standard limb leads. Leads aVR, aVL, and aVF are called augmented limb leads.

Answer to Question 2

F
The term ectopic, which means out of place, is used to describe an impulse that originates from a source other than the SA node. Ectopic pacemaker sites include the cells of the AV bundle and Purkinje fibers, although their intrinsic rates are slower than that of the SA node.

Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.

Though Candida and Aspergillus species are the most common fungal pathogens causing invasive fungal disease in the immunocompromised, infections due to previously uncommon hyaline and dematiaceous filamentous fungi are occurring more often today.
