Answer to Question 1

A
An Asian male newborn is most at risk for having a cleft lip or palate. Clefts of the lip or palate occur in approximately 1 in 600 to 700 Caucasian newborns. The incidence is double that rate in Asians and half that rate in Blacks. Cleft lip occurs more often in males.

Answer to Question 2

B
Feedback
A Cervical dilation is the same for all labors.
B Multiparas usually labor more quickly than nulliparas, making the total duration
of their labor shorter.
C Level of pain is individual to the woman, not to the number of labors she has
experienced.
D The sequence of labor mechanisms is the same with all labors.
