Answer to Question 1

D
Senge, Kleiner, Roberts, Ross, and Smith (1994) stressed five learning disciplines that are the core of the learning organization. In personal mastery the ability to expand one's personal capacity to create the desired results occurs. In mental models one uses constant reflection, clarification, and improvement of internal pictures/views of the world to understand how this shapes behaviors and decisions. Shared vision occurs by building a sense of commitment in a group through the development of shared images of the future. Team learning occurs through encouraging conversational and collective thinking skills so that groups of individuals can work together to build a collective intelligence. Systems thinking is a way of thinking and understanding the forces and interrelationships between systems including how the parts of the system influence the whole.
