Answer to Question 1

ANS: A
TQM is a management philosophy that focuses on the statistical processes by which to assess work done with the goal of organization-wide quality effectiveness. TQM examines multiple as-pects of an organization, more than only cost-efficient or cost-effective care, and looks at multi-ple aspects of care delivery.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: A, B
PPM and MAUT are types of planning methods. The sustainability and effectiveness methods are parts of the PPM. Sustainability is an evaluation method to determine if there are resources available to continue the program. Effectiveness is an evaluation method to determine if the pro-gram is able to meet its objectives and to evaluate the results of program efforts. A population needs assessment is one of the first steps in program planning but does not describe the entire process of program planning.
