No research supports that palli-ative care is most effective in any particular period of the death trajectory. There are no time limits placed on palliative care. A DNR is required in order to eliminate resuscitation efforts

Cerumen impaction is the most common and easily corrected of all interferences in the hearing of older people. Individuals at particular risk of impaction are African-Americans. While the other options can result in a hearing loss, they are not seen as frequently.
