political and economic changes; the uncertainties that these changes will bring; a greater
awareness of Western consumer culture; recognition of social and health conditions, including
domestic violence and alcoholism; a mixture of positive and negative economic conditions, such
as housing shortages and reduced employment opportunities, offset by growth in some sectors.

Answers should mention lower value manufacturing moving to Indonesia from Singapore, FDI from Taiwan.
