Answer to Question 1

When heating zinc, you should be in a well-ventilated area as zinc gives off a poisonous gas.

Answer to Question 2

The development of pig and poultry production in developing countries frequently occurs in densely populated areas near cities because it enables ready access to market, with little transportation costs. The downsides of this are that pollutants and pathogens from the farms are being released in populated areas, and fragile ecosystems, such as wetlands, are being destroyed.
