Answer to Question 1

Nutrients flow up and down a tree in bundles of tubelike tissues that form just inside the bark of trees
each year. The yearly addition of the new bundles causes the annual rings, which harden, forming the
grain in wood.



Answer to Question 2

Bore means low speed, while drill means high speed.
