Divide the hogs into 2 groups. For group 1, feed the hogs the original feed. For Group
2, feed the hogs the new feed containing less protein. Measure the weight gain (or
loss) to determine whether the feed containing less protein contributes to the
weight loss originally observed in the hogs.
