Answer to Question 1

Bypass factor  lower bypass factor produces more dehumidification Coil temperature  the colder the coil, the more dehumidification Longer run times  the longer the system operates, the greater the dehumidification
Counter air and refrigerant flow

Number of refrigerant circuits  the larger the number of paths refrigerant has through the coil, the higher the dehumidification

Answer to Question 2

A biflow valve allows refrigerant flow in both directions. Some meter in both directions while others only meter in one direction and allow free flow in the other.
